Slime RNG Roll Speed Guide

Roll speed is throughput. Luck changes the odds of each roll; roll speed changes how many attempts you make while a boost is active. This page separates current code rewards from timing suggestions. Last checked 2026-06-23

Roll speed vs luck

Luck

Improves the expected quality of each individual roll. Sources include permanent perks, Luck Boost, Ultra Luck Boost, roster passives, and rebirth multipliers.

Roll speed

Increases attempts per minute. The exact in-game math is not published in the local data, so this page treats timing as a planning note.

Luck model: Reported as multiplicative across permanent + temporary buffs (community-reported, not officially documented). Values marked needs_check are not official Stouts Studio numbers.

Codes that affect roll throughput

Best timing plan

Before boostingClaim permanent +Luck from liking the game and joining Stouts Studio, then make sure Auto Roll is unlocked.
During code windowIf a code reward includes Roll Speed Boost and Luck Boost, use the luck calculator first so the timing decision is visible.
Huge huntCheck Huge Lucky or Lucky Slime passive status before using boosts; some values are marked single_source or needs_check.
After rebirthRebirth is a permanent luck multiplier in the local data, so consider it before spending temporary rewards.

Roll-speed session checklist

Roll speed is only valuable when the rest of the session is ready. Before using a speed or dice reward, make sure the account has the free permanent luck sources, the current code list is checked, and the target session is long enough to benefit from faster rolls. A short distracted session wastes the same boost that could have powered a focused Huge slime hunt.

Use speed for volume

Speed helps when you can keep rolling continuously. It does not replace Luck Boost, rebirth luck, or roster passives.

Avoid mixed goals

Do not split one boost window between trading, code checking, and zone pushing. Pick one goal and stay on it.

If your goal is Huge hunting, read Huge Slimes first. If your goal is multipliers, start with the Luck Guide.

Roll Speed FAQ

Is roll speed the same as luck?

No. Luck improves the quality of each roll; roll speed increases how many rolls you can attempt in the same time window. Huge hunts need both.

When should I use Roll Speed Boost?

The safest documented approach is to confirm your current luck sources first, then decide whether a temporary Roll Speed Boost is worth using in that session.

Are Big Dice worth using immediately?

The local code data mentions Big Dice as a reward type, but does not provide enough official math to prove the perfect timing. Treat timing advice as planning, not a confirmed mechanic.
